Museum of Fine Arts, Valenciennes (France)

Production of a promotional video for the Museum of Fine Arts in Valenciennes, Northern France.

The Valenciennes museum had to close its doors for a while to undergo renovation and offer a new space to its audience. The artworks: paintings, sculptures, and other pieces were moved to completely empty the place.
To present and explain the upcoming renewal to the public, I had to create a video of an almost empty space before the renovations. The challenge was to preserve the spirit of the place and bring it to life despite its spaces being almost devoid of its artworks. So, I brought the statues to life by animating their faces and some paintings still present in the museum. All accompanied by dynamic and fluid editing.
